Create custom images
Notes
- When using an instance to create an image, the instance must be powered on, and the instance state cannot be changed during the image creation process. For example, do not shut down or restart the instance to avoid creation failure.
- When using snapshots to create images, only server instance snapshots can be created, while data disk snapshots cannot create custom images.
- Instances and their created images belong to the same region and availability zone. User defined images cannot be used across regions and availability zones.
- When the server instance or snapshot used to create a custom image expires or is deleted, the custom image will not be affected, and the instance created using the image will not be affected.
- The time required to create a mirror depends on the size of the instance disk.
